An Archival Sandbox of Puppetry
Description
The Observational Research Archival Cultural Learning Engine, also known as ORACLE, is an engine specifically designed to research and explore puppet cultures from around the world. It allows anyone to experience and learn about these cultures through a guided tour or through traditional music.
ORACLE relies on existing sources to gather information about puppetry traditions, using keywords to locate relevant history, cultural information, locations, images, time periods, and music. The system was developed through prompt engineering, visual design, and HTML-based programming.
Please Note: ORACLE is an experimental program and may occasionally experience bugs, errors, missing information, or unexpected behavior. Because the system relies on external online sources, some content may also change or become temporarily unavailable.
How To Use
Explore puppet cultures from around the world. ORACLE presents cultural information, historical references, geographic locations, archival images, and traditional music.
Select SPEAK to hear information about the current culture. Use CURATOR MODE for continuous guided narration, or choose MUSIC ONLY or NARRATOR ONLY to change the audio experience.
Use NEW CULTURE to explore another puppet tradition. Adjust animation speed, interact with the cultural archive, and select FULLSCREEN for a larger experience.
THINKER is a hidden research mode within ORACLE. To access it, first turn ORACLE OFF using the power control.
While the system is OFF, click inside ORACLE and press the T key four times. The first press activates the hidden signal. The next three presses must be completed within five seconds to reveal the password screen.
When the access screen appears, enter:

Select ENTER to unlock THINKER.
THINKER provides an interactive research environment for exploring information through web searches, academic research, source references, and visual research tools.
Enter a research topic into the search field and select SEARCH. Available research tools organize information and supporting sources for further exploration.
Turn THINKER OFF, then press the central core to restore ORACLE.
