CHIVIS grew from earlier work with City Tech’s Center for Holistic Integration (CHI), including a Wayang kulit shadow-puppet performance that combined traditional puppetry with digital technology. CHIVIS is a separate project that builds on those ideas in a new direction.
The site is designed as a place to explore, experiment, and discover. Through HTML coding, prompt engineering, visual design, and interactive media, CHIVIS brings traditional forms of puppetry into a digital space while also opening the door to new creative and educational experiences.
